The Mansfield Hotel
The Mansfield was rumored to be the homed of Max Von Gerlach, the real life inspiration for Scott Fitzgerald’s The Great Gasby.
Much has changed since those early halcyon days. By the time the new owners were ready for renovation, it was more than a little worn around the edges.
As tired as this beauty may be, it still had style and personality aplenty. I wanted to celebrate it’s rich historic past and give our guests a chance to appreciate the unique experience of staying in an authentic turn of the century New York property without sacrificing any of the modern comforts.
As the Creative Director, I drew inspiration from the Jazz age and create a classic, timeless and intimate brand that evoke the feelings of earlier Manhattan.
